13 YC are Philip, Hotti and Zooey. They play drums, bass and synth/voice. They like band practices that start in the morning and end at night. They like rhythms that are so hard to memorize they make everyone enter a state without beginning and ending. They like coming off stage so exhausted they can't even speak.
13 YC like recording, but it really makes a lot of sense to see them live.
Their genre fluid style doesn't really make sense. But that's kind of the point. Their shared attitude towards playing a show is what makes it work. And from Tenerife to Berne, Barcelona to Berlin, playing shows is what they like best.

Our currently most busy bee band aka Blind Butcher just wont stop playing shows. Lovely that they still found the time to record a new LP.
Blind Butcher recorded their album “ALAWALAWA“ for Voodoo Rhythm Records in 2017 and lost their minds. Sung in English, German or gibberish - the band played around 300 shows within the last 3 years.
& now album numero 3. The songs just make you move, disco meets kraut & wave. Visually the band is anyhow an eyecatcher, you can definitely notice their theater background - not least because of their amazing costumes & surprises on stage.

Duck Duck Grey Duck, a super-charged three-piece power band that sounds more like a monolithic swing machine, happened by accident, without anyone even noticing. With a retro-super-future sound, their music is full of spontaneity and reminiscent of the vitality of old-school recordings.

Frank Maston has written a soundtrack for the best movie never made. The result is a technicolor tour de force of a world unseen yet wholly imaginable. On an album of catchy pop hits, it’s Maston’s aesthetic precision that truly stands out.
Tulips is the followup to Maston’s 2013 release, Shadows, although the two couldn’t be more distinct in sound. If Shadows is the Beach Boys, Tulips is the love child between Ennio Morricone and the French New Wave. It’s a producer’s album, but the songwriting is what holds Tulips together. Frank Maston’s music has never sounded more assured.
The new album is already recorded & will be released in 2020. On top of that Maston played the european & US support for Allah Las in October & November 2019. In spring 2020 we'll send Maston on his first European club show tour since 6 years, afterwards we'll go straight into the Festival season 2020!

The debut album reveiced brilliant press, its a little masterpiece which hasn’t lost any of the energy of their live shows. This can be attributed to the lavish production that the band themselves are responsible for.

Wolfgang Möstl is a busy bee! Besides Mile Me Deaf he has produced almost 50 albums, e.g. for "Voodoo Jürgens" or "Der Nino aus Wien". Additionally Möstl plays guitars for "Sex Jams", "Melt Downer" and "Clara Luzia“.
With Alien Age he published the probably most multi-layered MMD album. Möstl abondoned the fuzz-and-thrash sound of his previous albums. Sampled beats and loops set the stage for his new album, reducing the 90s indie rock sound of past records to homeopathic doses. This time, dub, vaporwave, jazz and ambient come in the foreground. The entire album was single-handedly produced by Möstl, who used a vintage Akai sampler to lay down the base tracks in classic old school hip-hop fashion.
More than interesting, current club shows are played solo with MPC, iPad & guitar. This is just great live!

Neuzeitliche Bodenbeläge ("contemporary floorings") is Joshua Gottmanns and Niklas Wandt. Their Berlin neighbourhoods of cheap dives and streets full of discarded household goods seemed always to hold ephemeral stories - profane ones, of loners clinging with passion to some last straws in a life already in steep descent. Their first sign of life was a 7inch "Ich verliebe mich nie/Pfleg' mich" (Themes For Great Cities, 2018). These tape recordings already contain a broad spectrum of references from German wave and synthpop to ostentative kraut repetitions and were enthusiastically received in underground circles all over Europe. At the time of its release, Gottmanns and Wandt were already working on the followup EP in a hotel at Lake Constance. Under the tutelage of their Viennese life coach Ali Europa, their new songs are drumheavy, playful and dub-laden as well as endowed with an urging pop appeal - tales of neuroses and crises never did sound as sweet. Their first shows in Austria, Belgium, Holland, Czech Republic and Germany already turned out to be sensual experiences for band and audience alike - the door's wide open, get your flooring today!

Sea Moya is a new psychedelic-beat outfit, emerging from in between shipping containers of a german harbour. Creating a wild and diverse journey, the former german, but now canadian based band is performing a collage of funk, afrobeat, krautrock and modern electronica. Passing their ideas through a chaotic system of wires, various instruments, effect pedals and analog recording gear into the computer, where it all gets mangled, sliced up and put back together again, it still sounds human, or at least something like that. After two great EP´s the band has finished album one, which was released in October 2018.
Since then Sea Moya has been playing shows in Europe & USA non stop. "The band just finished LP 2 & is back in the USA now to first support Maribou State & play their own headline tour after. From around March 2020 Sea Moya will be back in Europe.

Known for his moody blend of garage-influenced soul, blues, roots, and Americana, The Bones of J.R. Jones is the solo project of singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jonathon Linaberry. Hailing from Upstate New York, he released his third studio album "Ones To Keep Close“ in May 2018. Produced with Rob Niederpruem in Brooklyn, NY, Ones To Keep Close is a crisp, eleven-track collection of stomp-along songs that evoke a vivid spectrum of emotion.

YĪN YĪN (NL)
YĪN YĪN is the project of Kees Berkers ("Baby Galaxy","YAYAYA") & Yves Lennertz ("Bounty Island"). Being avid record collectors, with both members having a collection spanning almost every musical era and genre, details from many different genres seep through in their music.
Using South East Asian music from the 60 ́s and 70 ́s as a main inspiration, whilst also bringing their individual musical backgrounds and interests to the table, the recording spree resulted in a remarkable set of songs mixing world music, disco, funk and electronic music. YĪN YĪN found their home at Bongo Joe, where they released their debut album "The Rabbit That Hunts Tigers“ in October 2019.
YĪN YĪNs festival summer 2019 was quite impressive, the band played around 40 festivals across Europe, incl. Into The Great Wide Open, Le Guess Who?, Bad Bonn Kilbi, Appletree Garden, Maifeld Derby, Trans Musicales, RBF 2019 & many more.
We'll have to do better in 2020, first with some clubshows & followed by more festivals!
